Who: Anyone! The class is geared towards adults but reach out to Kate through the South Burlington Rec Department website to inquire about kiddos joining.
How much: $70/person, and this includes everything you need, instruction, guidance, and six cupcakes to decorate and take home.
Class description: Join us for a cupcake decorating class, where we will teach you how to pipe succulents on cupcakes! This class is perfect for beginners and the intermediate cake decorator, as we will go over basic technique, while also challenging those who have taken a previous class with new skills.
We will go over the foundations of piping 3D plants, practice, and then you get to decorate your own 6 cupcakes to take home - complete with oreo “dirt” and chocolate rocks.
Don’t miss this class, as it will be fun for all! All materials are included (yes, aprons too), and all you have to bring is a positive attitude that’s ready to learn something new, and have a great time.
Decorate-it-Yourself Kits
Can’t make our in person succulent cupcake decorating class? We’ve got you - you can bring it home!
Our Succulent cupcake decorating kit comes with everything you need to decorate six cupcakes in the cutest, most delicious way! All decorating materials are provided, including piping bags, tips, colored buttercream, offset spatula, chocolate rocks and oreo “dirt”, and of course six cupcakes!
Bring this to girls’ night in, or have a date night to remember. Use this kit to create an activity for your whole family that you don’t have to plan, or prepare. These decorating kits are also perfect for employee team building and bonding exercises! All you have to do is show up
We recommend one kit per person, but two people can share one and you can on your cupcakes together.
But don’t delay - these kits will only be available in September, or until supplies run out!
About Cake Decorating Classes
Community Classes
We have partnered with the South Burlington Recreation Department to provide cake decorating classes for the community! These classes have been a blast and a half, where folks of all ages and skill levels can come together to either learn or brush up on basic cake decorating techniques. Check the town recreation website to register.
Private events, birthday parties, team building
Looking for something new to do with a small crowd? Let us take the cake! We will come to your party location or event, and do a hands-on cake decorating lesson, tailored to your goals!
The way the classes are structured is flexible: for younger kids, we can provide mini cakes, or 6” cakes pre-iced to minimize frustration and optimize fun. Or for those looking for more of a challenge, we can provide the tools and instruction necessary for participants to do the whole thing on their own, learn new skills and have a blast in the process!
